[KOR] 해양 생물, 식물 및 곤충과 같은 유기체들은 생존을 위해 기능성 도구(예: 홍합 족사)들을 개발해왔습니다. 경북대학교 자연모사재료연구실에서는 위와 같은 천연소재의 화학적 특징을 분석하여 이해하고, 이를 모방한 '첨단바이오소재'를 설계하고 합성하여, 궁극적으론 사람들의 생명을 구하는 일에 일조하고자 합니다.

[ENG] Living organisms such as marine creatures, plants, and insects utilize polyphenolic tools for their survival. Our mission is to fundamentally understand the chemistry of natural polyphenols and mimic the systems to design and synthesize functional biomaterials that save people's lives.
